The Charleston Area Alliance works to recruit new businesses and to retain and expand existing business to develop new opportunities and jobs for our area. Our business retention program is aimed at maximizing a pro-business climate for the Charleston Area. The Alliance works with other organizations to attract new business, improve the quality of life, and promote new ways to insure the success of existing business.

Entrepreneurs
The Charleston Area Alliance encourages entrepreneurs through its Smith Street small business incubator. The Alliance provides office and warehouse space, shared office services, proven networking and marketing opportunities, and business counseling to start-up companies. The Alliance is also a collaborative partner in the Entrepreneurial League System.
