Charleston Area Alliance, GreenSpace

Gateway Greenspace is a $2 million project located on a one acre tract on the corner of Washington Street East and Leon Sullivan Way. This project needs to be completed by the end of 2007. Ted Armbrecht is the volunteer head of the committee and assistance is being provided by Mike Aeiker of the Alliance staff. Partners include CURA, City of Charleston, WV DOT, Brier Hills Garden Club, and WV Legislature. Seek funding for the long term maintenance of the site through the establishment of an endowment fund.
